Cultural landscape of the Serra de Tramuntana World Heritage

On 29 June 2011, the Serra de Tramuntana was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in the Cultural Landscape category. This distinction refers to the result of the interaction between natural and human factors, as established by the European Landscape Convention. Millenary agriculture, in an environment with scarce water resources, has transformed the terrain and created an articulated network of interconnected water management mechanisms between different plots of feudal origin.

The Serra de Tramuntana Consortium promotes policies for the improvement and conservation of all these elements and of the tangible and intangible values, with actions that seek the involvement and participation of all the people who live and work there and that aim to improve human intervention and the sustainability of the territory of the Serra de Tramuntana World Heritage Site.

La Serra en obert és l’aportació de les empreses amb Distintiu a la celebració dels 15 anys de la Serra de Tramuntana com a Patrimoni Mundial.
Durant les properes setmanes podreu descobrir, de manera gratuïta, tallers, vinyes, olivars, camps i possessions emblemàtiques de la Serra. En total, 13 experiències úniques per conèixer el territori des de dins.

Visita guiada a les vinyes i al celler de Terra IóN.

Endinsa't en el projecte vitivinícola de Terra IóN i descobreix de primera mà el procés d’elaboració d’uns vins profundament connectats amb la terra i el seu entorn.

Durant la visita guiada recorreràs les vinyes i les instal·lacions del celler, coneixent una filosofia de treball basada en l’agricultura orgànica, la promoció de la biodiversitat, la regeneració dels sòls i el respecte pels ritmes naturals. El treball manual i la cura de cada detall marquen el dia a dia d’aquest projecte compromès amb la sostenibilitat i la qualitat.

En acabar la visita, hi haurà l’opció de contractar una degustació de tres vins clàssics de Terra IóN a les mateixes instal·lacions del celler.
