Sea fair

The Serra de Tramuntana is best known for its landscape, the Dry Stone Route and the hydraulic infrastructure that has been deployed over the centuries, but its links with the sea and the traditional activities associated with it are little known.

The Sea Fair, organised by the Serra de Tramuntana Consortium and Sóller Town Council, aims to highlight the Serra de Tramuntana's relationship with the culture of the sea.

The Port of Sóller is the only natural harbour on the north coast of Mallorca and has elements that are representative of seafaring life and the traditions of the fishermen. Moreover, it offers a wide space thanks to its promenade, is very well connected thanks to the tram and houses the Museum of the Sea as a cultural infrastructure financed by the Council of Mallorca.

The programme of the Sea Fair includes music (havaneres and popular songs), gastronomy (sample of seafood cuisine), nautical and seafaring activities, cultural, recreational and informative activities.
